Built to be
used by everyone.
We build websites — including our own — to be fast, clear, and usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, or a touch screen. Here's how, and how to tell us if we've missed something.
Our approach
Stonekept aims to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines on the sites we build. Because every site is hand-coded, accessibility is something we control directly rather than inherit from a template or plugin.
- Semantic HTML — real headings, landmarks, and lists so assistive tech can navigate the page.
- Keyboard support — every menu, link, and form control is reachable and operable without a mouse, with a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link.
- Readable contrast — text and interface colours are chosen to meet AA contrast targets.
- Reduced motion — we respect your
prefers-reduced-motionsetting and drop animations when you've asked your device to limit them. - Resilient by default — content is readable even if scripts or fonts fail to load, and the site works at high zoom and on small screens.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never quite "done." We keep testing as we add content and features, and we treat accessibility bugs the same as any other bug — worth fixing.
Found a problem?
If any part of this site is hard to use, please tell us — we want to fix it. Email [email protected] or call (320) 979-0347 and describe what you ran into, including the page and the device or assistive technology you were using if you can. We'll respond and work to put it right.
